EFEKTIVITAS PENERAPAN E-GOVERMENT PEMERINTAHAN DESA (STUDI KASUS WEBSITE DESA TAMBAKBAYA KECAMATAN KABUPATEN LEBAK )

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, it is not surprising that advances in information and communication technology can promise efficiency, speed of information delivery, affordability, and transparency, and the government is no exception. Especially in the current era of regional autonomy, it is necessary to realize good governance by utilizing information and communication technology or what is commonly called e-government.Through e-government, improvement of public services can be realized. As stated by Dwiyanto (2011: 181) that the government bureaucracy can develop the use of information and communication technology (ICT) in carrying out government activities, facilitating interaction with the community, and encouraging accountability and transparency of public service providers.This study uses qualitative methods, as an attempt to create a systematic, factual, and accurate description and picture of online-based public services in Tambakbaya village. The use of qualitative methods is because the data obtained in this study are in the form of descriptions of the factual conditions of implementing information technology in public services in the villages, which are then reported by researchers based on the points of view conveyed by the main informants and supporting informants in the village of Tambakbaya. This research describes the effectiveness of the village website that has been implemented in the Tambakbaya village, which turns out to be repaired and improved in terms of the human resources themselves in managing the Tambakbaya village website.
